Instagram has provided some new methods to utilize Instagram Stories ads. It is now one of the best methods for generating traffic on your blogs or websites.
1. Don’t Use Banned Hashtags On The Post
Not all hashtags are created in the same way. Utilizing one of Instagram’s banned hashtags could land you in hot water and ignorance is not an excuse.
While some banned hashtags are pretty common sense and comply with Instagram’s terms of service, others aren’t so obvious. According to HuffPo list, the list of banned hashtags includes #citycentre, #adulting and #eggplant. Study the hashtags you are using carefully, and ensure that they’re relevant to your audience and don’t have an obscure, urban dictionary or emoji that you didn’t know about… (Not I can say that it’s ever happened to me!) buy instagram followers cheap
2. Use A Third Party Posting App
Instagram has an API that is closed. This means it does not permit third-party applications to publish directly to Instagram. You can still use a dashboard for social media such as Agorapulse in order to control your Instagram account but it’s a bit more complicated than for Facebook, or Twitter.
Most legit social media management applications work around this issue. For instance, you can login to the account of your Agorapulse account and plan an Instagram post.
Once the time has come when you’re ready, you’ll receive a notice. Then, you can log in to the Agorapulse application, which will direct you to Instagram where you can hit publish. It is important to remember that you should be the one that hits publish.
Although, that’s not how we go about it but there are apps such as Schedugram that directly post to Instagram for users, using your user username and password to gain access to your account. This is a major Terms and Conditions no no. A few additional hoops isn’t easy, but it also keeps your account secure.
3. Don’t Post Too Much Content
Instagram favors real, human users and all the guidelines and rules are meant to prioritize them over bots and spammers. Although Twitter has apps like Social Quant that can automatically follow and unfollow a lot of users to increase your following, Instagram frowns on that kind of actions. That’s why they have an unofficial cap on account activity.
What are these numbers? Although Instagram hasn’t released official numbers Ana Gotter did some in depth research and came to the following:
Follow and unfollowing more than 60 people per hour
Affiliating more than 300 posts in an hour.
Over 60 comments posted in an hour
4. Stay Away From The Robots
Look. In any other situation, I’ll be the first to discuss the possibility of bots automating your marketing processes, however, that’s not the point Instagram is all about.
Bots that auto-comment and followor unfollow individuals can be an attractive way to boost your profile. You’ll be the type of user who is responsible with them and responsibly, surely? But, as we go back to Rule 3, this kind of conduct will be caught for the most inexplicably bad motives. Keep your interactions human
There aren’t any hard and easy rules for how to make sure your Instagram posts are successful for you. There are only a handful or rules of thumbs. I believe Neil Patel, author and internet entrepreneur, got quite some of them within an essay.
However, I’ll cut it down for those who don’t have the time to read through all of them. I’ll adjust the importance in accordance with what I believe is essential to an Instagram post, without making a fuss about it.
Invest in a Good Picture
Each of your posts has to be postcard-ready . All you need are a few good quality pictures that highlight the top qualities of your product. There was once a food delivery site that I followed on Twitter which made the best food, but with the darkest pictures on Instagram. I considered it an opportunity wasted and asked them to tweak their photos a bit with filters before posting it. They did , and the pictures have been making me salivate ever since!
Make sure you give your Instagram account an avatar who they can identify to or post a behind the scenes photo. There’s a reason why people hunt down BTS YouTube videos prior or during TV shows or movies. Human beings are curious that way. When they connect with you, they’re already hooked.
Be Funny, Be Quirky, Be In-the-Know, Be Cool or Any One of Those
If you’re not funny, then be funny. If you’re not quirky, be in-the-know. If you’re not aware Be cool. Pick one. This way, people are able to remember you every time you look at the corner. They look at you from the corner of their vision and recognize you as the person they’re intrigued all over again. That’s branding.
Get an Influencer
My birthplace was in the day and time when people were called an influencer. Your parents probably believed that they were drug addicts. However, in today’s digital age influencers are people who has a massive following on their social media pages. If you can afford to hire one of those YouTubers or Instagrammers to promote your product or service excellent. If you can’t, find someone affordable you can work with, preferably within the same industry BUT not your competitor. Do do I really need to do this? =) There’s a list on the internet which shows those with an International platform. If you’re in a local area, don’t be afraid to bargain with them.
Use Instagram Ads
If you stay within your budget and make an attractive short video Go for it. It’s not a good idea to spend thousands on advertisements, though. When you’ve divided costs between Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Google it is possible to earn an average return. The thing you’re hoping to get in the end the day, are eyeballs.
Run Contests and Encourage Positive Engagement
Posts with something unique or simple will surprise even the most seasoned of us. People will do their very best to win a notebook, tickets for a theme park, a bottle of hand lotion, a holiday, air tickets or the grand piano. If it’s for free, not many will complain. In addition, when compared to Facebook, Instagram’s got less rules to adhere to… as of now.
I can’t say enough about how some people are using hashtags wrongly. You don’t post a picture of your baby and use a hashtag like #AngieandBobsBabyisSoCute. 1.) The hashtag isn’t being used by anyone else, this hashtag, so it’s an unnecessary wasted of your time (and space) 2) You want to use an appropriate hashtag that people could look up and have already used; 3.) Find other similar posts for inspiration , and follow them for exposure. You can create your own awesome hashtag and use it to promote it everywhere. This means, everywhere so that your friends, family and followers can use it too. Now, THAT’s the purpose of hashtags.
